Riverfest

Riverfest has provided thousands of people with the opportunity to kayak and canoe on area rivers over the years. In 2017, more than 500 people with different backgrounds and experience levels participated in the two-day event.
Along with helping people feel more comfortable taking part in water-related activities, Riverfest provides an opportunity to educate local residents on the importance of our region’s waterways and how to help protect and conserve these precious resources.
Riverfest typically takes place in conjunction with the Columbus Arts Festival at Bicentennial Park. Participation is free and on a first-come, first-served basis — no pre-registration is required.
