Brown Announces Nearly $5 Million for Ohio State University to Improve Water Quality

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) has awarded a $4,999,930 grant to the Ohio State University through the Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI). 

“The Ohio State University is home to some of the nation’s leading agricultural researchers,” Brown said. “These federal resources will allow OSU researchers to develop and provide solutions to critical water problems across Ohio.”
